CIDEG Academic Salon NO.139 Championship or Ranked Game? Release time: 2016-12-24

    On Dec 24, 2016, No. 139 CIDEG Academic Salon & Young Scholar Salon was held in Room 423, the School of Public Policy and Management (SPPM) at Tsinghua University.TANG Xiao, Post-doctor of Institute for Contemporary China Studies, Tsinghua University, gave a keynote speech named “Championship or Ranked Game? Re-discussion on China’s Drive Mechanism of Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction”.Commentators were CHEN Ling, Associate Professor of SPPM and Deputy Director of CIDEG, and ZHU Junming, Assistant Professor of SPPM. TANG Xiao applied various quantitative methods to conduct the test and discussed the core reason why China’s work on Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction overcomes the inflexion point of the Environmental Kuznets Curve.
