On the afternoon of August 26, 2020, the Symposium on Transnational Transfer of  Solid Waste was held at the School of Public Policy and Management of Tsinghua  University. Zha Daojiong, Professor of the School of International Studies of Peking  University, member of CIDEG Academic Committee briefed the session on the overall  progress made in the commissioned project Transnational Transfer of Solid Waste.  Tan Quanyin, Assistant Research Fellow of the Institute of Solid Waste Disposal and  Resources of the School of Environment of Tsinghua University, Tian Yu from the  Technical Center for Solid Waste and Chemical Products Management of the Ministry  of Ecology and Environment, Assistant Prof. Guan Ting from the School of Government of Beijing Normal University, Guo Tianyi from Founder Securities  gave special reports to the symposium based on their respective research projects. Gao Shiji, Director of the Institute of Resources and Environmental  Policy of the Development Research Center of the State Council and member of the CIDEG Academic Committee and Associate Prof. Xu Jianhua from the  Department of Environmental Management of the College of Environmental Sciences and Engineering of Peking University also joined the discussions and  gave their suggestions regarding the research theme.
