May 16, 2021, the 28th CIDEG Academic Committee Meeting was held at the School  of Public Policy and Management, Tsinghua University. The meeting was moderated in  two sessions (morning and afternoon) and was joined by members in-person and via  online video link. The meeting mainly reviewed the proposals of major CIDEG research  projects, as well as holding in-depth discussions on mobilizing research efforts to  better facilitate the major national strategic goals of carbon peak and carbon neutrality.  Board directors and members of the Academic Committee attending the meeting  included Hatta Tatsuo, Barry Naughton, Hoshi Takeo, Cai Fang, Dong Changzheng,  Tokuchi Tatsuhito, Gao Shiji, He Kebin, Hu Angang, Jiang Xiaojuan, Ji Weidong, Long  Guoqiang, Qin Xiao, Xiao Meng, Qian Yingyi, Xue Lan, Zha Daojiong and  CIDEG Distinguished Research Fellow Tsugami Toshiya, CIDEG Director Chen Ling,  CIDEG Assistant Director Zhao Jing, etc. Director Jiang Yongbin and Deputy Director  Lv Lei (Department for Overseas Projects, Research & Development Affairs Offce,  Tsinghua University) also joined the meeting.
