This project is a CIDEG emergency project, its main research content is the innovation model of the “village in the city” renovation in the context of the current development phase of China and particular institution. Specifically, (1) an analysis of the models of “village in the city” renovation in different areas and its influencing factors. (2) Formation mechanism of compensation and resettlement for “village in the city” demolition. (3) “Village in the city” renovation and relevant international experience on compensation and resettlement for demolition. (4) Institutional innovation scheme and policy mix of “village in the city” renovation.
