Study on the Lessons and Experience of Community Environmental Governance

This is an emergency project of CIDEG. The enlightenment Minamata disease brings to China has six main points: 1) to learn the lessons of Minamata disease; 2) to balance the relationship between environmental protection and economic development; 3) to coordinate the contradictions between the development of civil society and community culture; 4) to establish the cooperation among stakeholders based on the rule of law; 5) to make media promote social fairness; 6) to take advantage of the platform of domestic and international cooperation to share the experience and lessons of industrial development.
