On the afternoon of April 29th, CIDEG academic salon NO.164 was held at SPPM, Tsinghua University. Geoff Mulgan, Chief Executive of the National Endowment for Science Technology and the Arts (NESTA), former Director of Policy at 10 Downing Street, Co-founder and Director of the London-based Think Tank Demos, was invited to deliver a keynote speech about "Big Mind: How Collective Intelligence Can Change Our World". XUE Lan, Distinguished Professor of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, Tsinghua University, Dean, Professor of SPPM, Tsinghua University, Dean of Schwarzman Scholars was also invited to have an in-depth dialogue with Geoff Mulgan. Nearly 100 people from universities and enterprises attended the salon.
