On the afternoon of May 28^th, a proposal meeting on a Major Program “The Boundary, Mechanism and Optimization of Government Function in Market-oriented Innovation System” supported by the National Social Science Fund of China was held in Room 302 in SPPM, Tsinghua University. 

The meeting was hosted by Chen Ling, associate professor of SPPM, Tsinghua University, deputy director of CIDEG. Meng Yanchun, deputy director of Liberal Arts Division, associate professor of SPPM, Tsinghua University, Yang Yongheng, vice dean and professor of SPPM, Tsinghua University attended the meeting. 

Members of the program including Xue Lan, distinguished professor of Arts and Humanities, Tsinghua University, dean of Schwarzman College, director of CIDEG, Huang Shaoqing, associate professor of Antai College of Economics & Management, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Zhang Yongwei, researcher of the Development Research Center of the State Council, Zhao Jing, associate professor of SPPM, Tsinghua University attended the meeting and delivered proposal reports. 

The meeting specially invited several experts including Chen Qingtai, former secretary, vice dean and researcher of the Development Research Center of the State Council, Wu Jinglian, researcher of the Development Research Center of the State Council, joint president of the academic committee of CIDEG, Bao Jing, executive vice president and secretary of Chinese Academy of Administration, Zheng Xinye, dean and professor of School of Applied Economics, Renmin University, Jiang Feitao, deputy director and research associate of Industrial Operation Laboratory, Institute of Industrial Economics of CASS, Zhou Yuan, associate professor of SPPM, Tsinghua University, Zhang Wei, associate professor of Department of Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Strategy, School of Economic and Management, Tsinghua University, Meng Ke, assistant professor of SPPM, Tsinghua University.
